SCAM targeting seniors from Office Ortega! (3/9)
There is a company targeting seniors for an internet investment scam. The company is UNIVERSAL INTERNET EXPERTS.COM and they contact seniors with the scam that they are web designers for up and coming internet companies. They sell the seniors the ‘investment’ of $9,000 buy in to help pay for the design and set up costs of that new company’s webpage. The company does claim the investor will have no work and steady income on the investment. However in very small print their lengthy disclaimer states that ‘results may vary.’ The seniors then receive no return at all. So far we don’t know of any cases here in Arizona.
Directory Form (3/8)
ALL residents of Sun City Grand should fill out a new Directory form as supplied on the website as well as in the Grand Times. It is much easier to verify your information than to "hope" that it is already correct in the database. There are two different versions posted online under Communications--one is a form that you print out and fill in by hand, sign and return. The other form can be filled out directly from your computer (and then we don't have to worry about handwriting--do we?), printed, signed and then turned in at Membership or Activities. Thank you for your help and cooperation in this project.
Weeds and Pre-Emergent (3/8)
February and March are the months when an application of pre-emergent herbicide will be most effective in stopping weed growth before the summer months. This pre-emergent chemical can be applied by a respected company or by you personally.

You could drop off your magazines at Del Webb Hospital--or you could drop them off (in a marked container--marked for Hospital) in the SCG Library.
