Hospital in need of magazines (1/28)
Banner Del Webb Hospital is in need of magazines for patients to read while in waiting rooms, etc. If you have magazines that you were going to put into the recycling bin--this may be another way that will benefit others. You could drop off your magazines at Del Webb Hospital--or you could drop them off (in a marked container--marked for Hospital) in the SCG Library. The Volunteers at the Hospital thank you for your help.
New Page on Grandinfo (2/2)
We started a new page on our website some time ago. Any resident who would like to share information about themselves or a family member we now have a place to put that information. Simply send an email message to sblatnik@scgcam.com and she will post it on this page. Click here to see what kind of information we are talking about sharing. The link (Personal Community News) to the page is located under the SCGInfo tab on the home page.
Faucet Aerators (2/2)

Have you cleaned out the faucet aerators in your home lately? With our hard water in Arizona, it is best if you clean out those aerators every 4-6 months. If you have NEVER cleaned them out--now is a good reminder to do so. It's a simple matter of unscrewing the aerator and cleaning it out. A diluted vinegar solution will clean them very nicely.

Lost and Found (2/5)
Have you recently lost something inside SCG? If so, you should go directly to the Lost and Found inside the Welcome Center inside the Palm Center to look to see if your item(s) has shown up there. We have lots and lots of keys, eyeglasses, clothing items, etc. that just don't seem to be claimed. There is also a listing of found items under the "Lost and Found" tab of the home page. Please check it out--you may find out that someone has been protecting your lost item for some time and they would be more than happy to give them back to you.
Up to Date Records (1/29)

Do we have your most recent and up-to-date information regarding your mailing addresses, emergency contacts, etc. Does a neighbor or friend have emergency contact information for you and your family members? When emergencies happen, it is necessary for those numbers to be available--time will be of the essence. Please help by keeping all of this information up to date in the Membership Office. Please send your up-to-date information to the Membership Director, Meda Cates at Meda.Cates@scgcam.com. Another reminder--please do NOT leave your house for a walk or a run or whatever without identification. Thanks for your help and cooperation.
